Success in the leadership arena isn’t a mystery. It’s a skill set that you can learn.
I bring over 30 years’ experience in international business and program development, giving me hands-on experience and insight into what it takes to successfully navigate complex corporate and governmental environments.
As a certified executive and leadership development coach, I can help you build the confidence you need, to recognize your innate strengths and develop them, nudging you outside your comfort zone – the place where personal growth occurs.
I have a passion for sharing what I have learned to help you achieve at the highest levels, making your career aspirations a reality. Let me equip you with the skill set to reach your potential as a valuable and effective leader.
My experience literally spans the globe, including conducting business and travelling for pleasure in 45 countries on six continents. This experience has given me a keen understanding of business practices throughout the nation and the world, in addition to a well-developed cultural sensitivity from working with many diverse populations.
As a Global Academic Programs Project Director for MD Anderson Cancer Center, I traveled internationally to develop partnerships with many foreign governments, diplomats and world-renowned faculty at top-tier hospitals and research institutions.
While at MD Anderson, I volunteered for the mentorship program, grooming many early- to mid-career professionals there and at the American College of Healthcare Executives. Those I mentored nominated me for annual awards multiple times, and three times I was named a finalist for Distinguished Mentor of the Year, from a pool of over 1,000 mentors.
While I am a Houston, Texas native, I have also lived in Paris and Barcelona. I have a bachelor’s degree in international business from The University of Texas – Austin, and an MBA in international business from Schiller International University in Paris, France.
I have a heart for community service and helping people, which feeds my drive as a coach. I have been a volunteer with Amigos de las Americas, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Houston Proud, Interfaith Ministries, the AIDS Foundation, Ripley House, Christian Community Services Center, St. John the Divine, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I have a passion for international travel, including many places off the beaten path where the average tourist would not think to go.
